The villa features an authentic traditional architectural design, furnishings from around the world and historical elements related to the island’s history. It possesses its own identity and personality, while offering an extremely restful and hospitable environment. The large private Terrace, right on the water, with direct access to the swimming area below it, the only one of its kind on the island, and all other verandas, offer stunning panoramic sea views, flamboyant sunrises and poetic full moon viewings as the sea is everywhere...and can be experienced from each and every corner, with one's all five senses. One can savour food and drinks next to it, read, lounge, sleep and dream...in immediate communion with the sea, its intoxicating scent, its gentle lapping on the warm flat rocks.
Ideally located in quiet Perfkakia, from where the main port and its restaurants, tavernas, cafes, boutiques and supermarkets can all be reached by a 15-minute walk (additionally accessible by taxi, scooter, sea-taxi). The Lycean Tomb nearby on the way, two Museums, Churches, Byzantine Monasteries, Ancient finds on the Plateau, the Blue Grotto (more impressive than the one of Capri), idyllic coves, St. George's islet, or a trip “around” are all choices of experiencing on this tiny, precious island.
The Villa is self-contained - so guests can choose, to just soak in the serenity of the villa, an idyllic hideaway, swim or snorkel – or have a quick access to a change of atmosphere at the main port and its lively ambiance - or a combination of both! VILLA DETAILS
The villa, right on the sea, extends on two levels and has 3 independent smoke-free spacious suites, each with its own key, ensuite bathroom/shower, working desk, two with additional, separate sitting
rooms. One suite is on the ground floor, the other two on the first floor, along with a traditional "kioski" or covered veranda, decorated with oriental touches.
Offering an intimate atmosphere, this retreat is limited to a maximum of 6 guests and up to 2 small children. Two bedrooms have Twin beds and the third a Double. There are two sofas /boat beds, an additional sofa bed and an up to 3 years old cot. Each suite has windows and verandas, as well as working desks, all with glorious sea views.
The spacious, fully equipped Kitchen is on the ground floor, as well as the large, spectacular, private Terrace, with the most wonderful and undisturbed views, surrounded by an elegant colonnade and directly overlooking, and with immediate access to, the sea and the swimming area.
A private Lunch/Dinning area under the arcades, choice of Breakfast locations, under the palm trees or on the Terrace, depending on the sun and shade, lunch and dinner areas below the arcades or under the night sparkling stars - these are additional tempting and comfortable choices for a privileged and unforgettable stay
