Nymph villas in Patmos is a dream neighborhood resembling an island in small-scale, consisting of six rental traditional houses that are built within a plot of land of 8,000 square meters, where white and azure prevail, along with soft, earthy colours and brushes of green and share common areas and a large pool.
With amazing sea views, the villas are a window to the Aegean Sea, perched on a beautiful and quiet location, just five minutes drive from the island's main village - Chora - Nymph villas is a fine example of the typical minimalistic aesthetics of Patmos within a truly atmospheric ambience.
Once in this neighborhood of dreams, the visitor feels at ease - just like at home - as suited to "a guest of honours". Leaving the dull urban routine behind, it takes just a few minutes for the newcomer to relax and get absorbed in the energy that the mystical landscape and the breathtaking views project. During daytime, guests can enjoy the sea, the sun and the endless serenity that this spot offers, while after the sun sets, they can get lost in their own dreams by staring at the impressive starry sky - and if lucky - at the romantic full moon, a real lifetime experience.
At the same time, if some guests feel like mingling with the summer crowds and spend an intense holiday by practicing some sea activities or trekking, participating in excursions around the island or to the nearby islets, attending cultural events and enjoying the island's nightlife, all this one can also be found in the Island of Patmos, in abundance.
These six dream houses are named after the Nymphs of the Greek mythology, known as water goddesses: Melia, Amalthea, Volina, Kastalia, Neda, Aora. Surrounded by lush gardens of trees, flowers, aromatic herbs, fruit and vegetables, the houses of the Nymphs can become a special retreat for guests who want to experience the authentic Mediterranean summer in serenity.
At the heart of the complex there is a large pool/Jacuzzi surrounded by gazebos, umbrellas, deck-chairs and other elegant outdoor furniture for dining and relaxing - everything being in place to allow guests to indulge in refreshing moments during daytime and romantic nights under the stars. Other facilities include the fully- equipped bar by the pool (kitchenette, fridge, freezer), the barbeque system, the high-tech equipment (plasma-TV with satellite connection, wireless network, CD player) in the living-room by the pool and a parking lot which can accommodate 6-8 cars.
To complement it all, a small white-washed church at the top of the hill in full harmony with the landscape is proudly gazing at the horizon of the Aegean Sea, adding a note of calmness and spirituality.
M House : sleeps 2-4 people. This house is the largest of all the houses and is spread in two floors. Upper floor comprises of a double bedroom with bathroom and benefits from sea views through its two terraces. The lower floor consists of a patmian style twin bedroom with sea views, a shower room, a large sitting area with fireplace, a separate dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
A House : sleeps 2-4 people. This house has a sitting area with twin beds in the typical patmian style with sea views, a dining area and a kitchen, a double bedroom with sea views, a shower room, and a shaded terrace with sea views.
V House : sleeps 2-4 people. This house has a dining area with a kitchen, a few steps down a living area with fireplace, a double bedroom in a typical patmian style opening up to a shaded terrace with sea views and a stone dining table, a sleeping area on a wooden staircase with sea views, a shower room.
K House : sleeps 2-4 people. This house has a sitting and a dining area with a kitchenette opening up to a balcony with sea views, a double bedroom with sea views, a twin bedroom with two single matresses on the typical patmian style with mountain views, a shower room, and a shaded terrace with sea views.
Nd House : sleeps 2 people (with an option to sleep an additional 2 people for an extra charge). The house has a big sitting area with two built sofa beds with sea views, a dining area with a kitchen, a double built bedroom with sea views, a shower room, and a shaded terrace with sea views.
Ar House : sleeps 2 people. This studio house has a double built bedroom with sea views, a kitchenette, a shower room, and a shaded terrace with sea views and garden. There is A/C, mosquito nets on windows and WiFi internet. The house is cleaned daily. Bed sheets and towels are changed twice a week.
