With a breathtaking view of the endless blue sea, Homer's Verses was built to reflect the aesthetic principles of Feng Shui philosophy in the natural stone colors. It also adopted the plain and elegant forms of Cycladic architecture in order to match the environment and to embrace the visitor, revealing the energy of the place as a point of direct contact with him. The villa is situated on the east coast of the island, nestled on the top of a hill next to a wild canyon, overlooking the blue sea and eleven other islands: Andros, Tinos, Giaros, Siros, Mykonos, Serifos, Siphnοs, Kithnos, even Paros and Naxos and Evia in the far left.
The villa is built to reflect the philosophy of Feng Shui is found within a 5.5 acre garden. Throughout the property, there are olives, pomegranates, almond and fig trees, as well as aromatic herb plants, blossoming flowers and a small vineyard. An ancient restored granary, dating from the 19th century, the jewel of the property, that oversees the infinite blue, is near the cottages. A Main Villa plus 4 separate guest houses unfold around a kidney shaped swimming pool. From every point of the estate, guests can gaze at the soul-relaxing blue Aegean. Other amenities include a spacious parking area, an outside shower and deck chairs and umbrellas complimenting the pool area. Units can be rented progressively with demand, for a total of 16 people
MAIN VILLA
You feel that you are standing at a ships bridge as you can admire from every room, even from the kitchen the spectacular view of the sparkling sea. This cottage is 110 square meters in size with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi and can accommodate up to 6 people. Each room has its own identity, decorated with earthy and vivid colors. There is a fireplace in the living room.
All linens are provided and the modern kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances. The beds have anatomically- friendly mattresses of excellent quality and the windows and balcony doors have screens to keep out insects.
The cottage has central heating in the event of cool weather as well as ceiling fans, while usually unnecessary due to excellent natural ventilation, even in the summer hottest days.
Among the facilities, the cottage features a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, espresso maker, toaster, electric water heater, kitchen utensils, washing machine, CD player and Jacuzzi.
On the veranda, there are bamboo sofas, a table with fitted chairs, a built barbecue, a big hand-made table which can host about 16 guests.
At this cottage, an extra person can sleep on the large sofa or an extra bed can be provided upon request.
