This tranquil beachfront large private house is located at the top of the “ Firo Laggoni” bay is ideal, looking over to the left at Ermoupolis and in the front at the islands of the Aegean Sea. The very scenic, noble and stylish capital of Syros and the Cyclades complex, recalling a prosperous town of Italy in the 19th century is only 4 kilometers away from the house and easily accessible by car (necessary).
From the northeast areas of the house the views of Ermoupolis start from its port and reach the two characteristic hills at the top of the town where two magnificent, one catholic and one orthodox, cathedrals are situated.
The list of the must- see sites and buildings in Ermoupolis is endless. Many cultural activities are organized every summer amongst which theater performances, a classical music international festival and various other concerts. The town offers a great variety of restaurants, bars and a casino.
Outside Ermoupolis, Syros has lovely beaches with lovely sea and good tourist facilities at a distance of a maximum 15 km from the house.
Swimming is easy at the small solitary beach 200 meters from the house, but also at the organized beach of Azolymnos (at 2 km), Vari, Ahladi (at 3km), Megas Gialos (at 5 km), Poseidonia, Galissas, Lotos, Kini, Delfini etc.
House Exterior
This waterfront house built at 200 meters from the sea consists of the central building mass and three (3) independent guest houses.
Built volumes are juxtaposed with exterior spaces both towards the northeast with unobstructed views of Syros’ capital,Ermoupolis (from the upper level of the main unit) and the southeast of the islands Mykonos, Tinos and Andros.
The architecture is subtle, designed by a young award winning Greek architect who achieved total integration of the buildings’ materials and colors into a typical Aegean landscape.
The positioning of the house follows the site’s sloping landscape, overlooking the very proximate twin islands called “Didimi”(or “Gaidaros”) where the lighthouse( “pharos” ) of Syros is located. Ships and boats entering into the port of Syros navigate spectacularly in the waters right between Didimi and the house.
All exterior and interior areas of both the main house and the guest houses offer views to those tiny islands as well as to Mykonos, Tinos and Andros and the Aegean Sea. At night all these Aegean islands look a breath away from the the house.
A small solitary beach is found at 5 minutes walk from the house.

On the ground floor level of the main house (140 m2) lie the living, dining, kitchen areas, and bathroom while the upper floor accommodates the master bedroom, en suite bathroom and a study that looks towards Ermoupolis with two independent balconies. The latter can alternate as a second bedroom.
The guest houses though small in size (30 m2 each approximately), are completelyindependent as they have exterior access and provide with en suite bathroom, kitchenette, refrigerator and patios.
